Toes: I know of no connection between equinus and speech delay

Stretching: Usually metatarsus ad ductus will not cause a delay in walking.  This is a very common position of the baby's foot in the womb.  Ask your doctor how to stretch the foot to straighten ot this curve.  It is very common and usually doesn't lead to bigger problems with development.

Yes but don't panic.: Obsessional behaviors like this can be an early indicator of more serious mental health or developmental problems.  However, this might be just a harmless blip in his behavior.  Take him to his pediatrician and ask him or her what s'he thinks.  Meanwhile, just be alert &amp; observant.  Best wishes.

Not likely: Unless your body mass is already in the anorexic bmi category, 5 lbs. Will not change your period start.

Depends: on type  and severity of injury. Often walking on cast is permitted and encouraged while other times strict non-weight bearing is necessary. Consult with your treating physician.

XYY: I've followed the xyy business for decades because of a personal interest. The claim that these boys are natural criminals is rubbish. Tall is fun, acne is treatable, and assertive is good. Variable: The effect of ts varies from patient to patient. There are adults i know who's only symptoms were skin lesions but had college degrees and normal lives. I have followed others who have had increasingly difficult times with seizures and delays.Severe delay by 2.5 is worrisome. I would prepare for a difficult time and get as much information as you can from the tuberous sclerosis alliance.
