NO: This is common and unless you are having sexual intercourse, the discharge you describe is an accumulation of cervical and vaginal mucous from sexual stimulation. If you have pain or burning you should be checked for a low grade infection.

Trichomonas, STDs: The discharge of bacterial vaginosis usually is white or gray, without bubbles, doesn&#x27;t stain underwear. Yellow or colored discharge with bubbles is  typical for the STD trichomonas, which causes the same strong odor as BV, usually fishy.  Other STDs (gonorrhea, chlamydia) also are a concern for any colored discharge. See a doctor or clinic ASAP. Your sex partner(s) also should be checked.

Get checked: for sexually transmitted infection (STI) if you have ever had unprotected sex.  STI is the most common cause of yellow vaginal discharge.  Other vaginal infections which are not sexually transmitted are also a possibility.  You should be checked for infections as soon as possible.  Left untreated, STI can cause serious problems, especially with future fertility. Condoms are best protection for STI

Get seen ASAP.: You need to be examined. Tests for STI's need to be done, at minimum.  Don't delay. Untreated sti's can lead to serious infections in women that affect fertility.  You could have something less serious, like bacterial vaginosis or trichomonas, but only an exam and appropriate testing will be able to sort out the cause, and give the right treatment.
