Accepted Answer

Yes: Many oral contraceptive dispensers will have a placebo or sugar pill to take from day 22 through 28 so that you don't have to remember to start the pills again in a week.  But you don't have to.  You restarted the next pill pack on August 9, 7 days/a week later.  This is correct.

It can be: Erratic menstrual cycles are common after delivery of a baby.  If you continue to have irregularity, you should speak with your physician.  Sometimes, we prescribe oral contraceptive pills postpartum to help regulate a womans cycles.

got two positive ovulation test on july 31 and aug 1st.  which is one is right?

Accepted Answer

Both: Just before ovulation the luteinizing hormone begins to increase.  It can remain elevation for several days. Taking an ovulation predictor test during that time will result in a positive test.

Sonogram : Ask your doctor when and if you will be having a sonogram. Gender can be seen about 15 weeks. 18-22 weeks is a better time to view fetal anatomy.

Impossible to tell: Did they determine that due date based on your last period or change it based in ultrasound?  Really can't tell - could be either...without knowing your history of your last period, are your periods regular, how long is your cycle...many variables.

Due to missing pills: when you miss birth control pills, the hormonal levels are not consistent with frequent ups and downs, which leads to irregular bleeding and unpredictable patterns. May want to use your pills regularly. If the problem still persists please see a gynecologist. Based on your sexual activity,if necessary,  please do a pregnancy test.

Conceived in mid May: If you were 12 week and 5 days on August 1, you conceived in the middle of May. Best wishes!

Manipulate menses: Easiest way to adjust menses is to skip sugar pills and start next month's birth control pills immediately after finishing current month's active ones. my monocyte percentage has been a little elevated and persistent the past year ( aug 2021: 12.4, february 2022: 15.3, october 2022: 15.8). the latest result is absolute monocyte 0.6 and percentage monocyte 15.8. what are possible causes?

: You don't mention the results of the rest of your cbc&amp; differential cell count. When your monocytes in the peripheral blood exceeds 10% it indicates that your body is reacting to something. It could be to infection such as mononucleosis, autoimmune disorder,certain medications or be a sign of a bone marrow disorder.  A hematologist is best to evaluate &amp; advise you. Appropriate testing will be done

Around 12/7-12/14: If you are due on 8/30, you ovulated (released the egg) on around 12/7 and implanted the fertilized egg around 12/14. Congratulations and good luck with your pregnancy.
