Usually a few days: Aquaphor will heal minor burns quickly, usually within a few days.  Healing time varies from person to person.  More severe burns may take longer or never completely heal.

I hope you properly removed all the offending chemical prior to applying aquaphor.

Eczema: A small eczema patch will also respond to using over the counter hydrocortisone cream.  Apply thinly to patch once or twice daily. Make sure to avoid skin around eyes. Also use scent and dye free skin care products and soaps.

Eczema: Proper treatment for eczema should start with identifying any possible triggers for worsening. A proper skincare regimen starting with a topical emollient is of utmost importance. Then depending on severity, medications such as topical steroids or other prescription products are available. talk with your pediatrician about tips to limit eczema flare ups (bath time, light towel drying, etc)

Aquaphor: I feel that aquaphor healing ointment would be a good choice to apply on chafed and irritated skin. Also wearing soft white cotton underwear should help.

Sure: You can try any kind of moisturizer and find out which works best for your daughter. More importantly , it is best applied within 3 minutes after bathing.  Keep up the daily bathing.

efudex (fluorouracil) script for face and forehead, twice per day for two or three weeks. when do i know to stop applying ? can i use aquafor during application?

Try 3! Stop w/pain.: Efudex (fluorouracil) targets pre-cancerous skin lesions for destruction.  It is common to experience redness, irritation and erosions with use, particularly at the pre-cancerous sites.  Generally speaking, 3 weeks is the recommended course unless the pain from use is severe.  Moisturizers are helpful but aquafor has lanolin which may cause an allergic reaction itself.  Try vaseline if you experience this.

i have had a friction burn on the glans of my penis for over 5 months and it wont go away. i tried bacitracin, vaseline, and aquafor with some relief, but other than temporary relief if the area is still so sensitive and very bright red?

: This calls for an examination by a Urologist. For without proper exam no diagnosis or treatment is possible. In the meantime try cortisone cream.

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It is unlikely to be eczema limited to lips. You could have an allergic reaction to something you eat or apply to your lips regularly. Try switching to a natural emollient like butter to see if that helps. It may also help to take a multivitamin supplement.
