Two options: You can choose to live with the symptoms & their restrictions & use a cane or walker if lumbar region assuming you have failed all treatment methods:  medication, physical therapy, a 0 degree lordosis back support & epidural steroid injections which also applies for the neck but instead of the back support you can wear a soft collar backwards.  Surgery is an option if medically stable & indicated.

Lots of things!!!: Ex-husbands or ex-wives!  but seriously, most anal pain is from clotted external/internal hemorroids, tear in the anal lining ("fissure"), irritation/breakdown of the skin around the anus from creams, excessive cleansing, ointments, or being too rough with toilet paper.  Infections, abscesses, fistula (connection from the rectum to the skin), warts, ulcers, cancer, difficult bms.  See rectal dr.

Many causes: A lot of reasons - some pretty bad, others not so much.  You need a doc to examine you (you can't tell yourself - you need an exam).  Not so bad:  anal fissures, hemorrhoids, irritation. Need treatment: anorectal cancer, ulcerative colitis, chrohn disease.  Occasionally bleeding can be from higher in the colon, or even small bowel or duodenum.
