I don't see any : Problem with u taking whey protein. Drink lots of water with it. Let your dr adjust your thyroid hormone based on your TSH in 3 months. Take care!

Timing = absorption: it is usually advised to take Thyroid medication on an empty stomach in the morning and 30 min. prior to anything other than water. There is thyroid medication that absorbs well even with food.  Timing of using thyroid is important and can be individualized.

See your doctor: In terms of your condition now, low blood sugar can cause shaking or tremor but so can high level of thyroid as in over treatment. These may not be the causes of your problem and it is best to see your doctor to make a decision.

No, but: There is no medical reason to take dhea for any known medical problem. It is metabolized to estrogen, testosterone and cortisone - and you can't control which it goes to. Plus most of the dhea supplements have very little active ingredient in them. Don't get your medical information from friends, tv or the internet. Dhea is worthless, and potentially harmful.

Zoloft (sertraline) and herbs: When taking zoloft, (sertraline) be careful not to take St John's wart ginkgo biloba, 5 ht and l-tryptophan as they can increase serotonin. Check if herbalife products contain these ingredients.

are there any interactions or concerns regarding taking the amino acid l-tyrosine and the thyroid med synthroid?  drug interdiction sites dont have much on the two together as one is a drug and the other i guess isnt. mixed chatter on the subject.

L-tyrosine: This amino acid is one of the basic amino acids your thyroid uses to make thyroid hormone. If you are taking synthroid this can lead to excess thyroid in the serum and signs of hyperthyroidism.  Some times a provider will do this to improve response to thyroid replacement, but should probably not be done unless your provider thinks this is appropriate.

i was told that you can mix afrin and nasacort together, shake it up well after adding the afrin to the nasacort bottle. how many days in a row can you use that mixture without getting congested? they say there's no interaction?

: I would never use Afrin more than 3 days in a row regardless of what you mix it with. The capillary spasm it produce must be given a rest for a few  days or you will develop congestion as the affected capillaries break down.

can i take valium, synthroid, (thyroxine) and percocet with dulcolax sensitive stomache for women for constipation?  i am afraid to mix and i only this laxative available and i have not defecated pain medication.

Constipation is : Common side effect of narcotic analgesics like percocet. There is no listed interaction between those 2 meds. Make certain thyroid function levels r correct: hypothyroid can also contribute to constipation. Caution with valium & Percocet as combo can cause CNS depression & psychomotor impairment. Increase dietary fiber &/or fiber supplements + plenty of fluids. Moderate exercise helps move bowels.

Yes!: There are many resources that physicians & pharmacists rely upon regarding drug information. I like www.Epocrates.Com & www.Drugs.Com. While there are drug-drug interactions w/isotretinoin, there doesn't appear to be any nutritional issues (http://www.Drugs.Com/accutane.Html). Yes, no problem.: These two medications have no interactions, they can be taken together. However, avoid taking Synthroid (Levothyroxine) along with food or coffee since these inhibit the absorption of the medicament.
