Don't know what: Insect bit you but a bed bug  can leave telltale sign of a  linear track of lesions from sequential feedings – doesn't always occur.

Is it infected?: Without physically examining your insect bite, there is only a medical guess as to what is triggering the weeping. Is it infected? This would be the 1st concern--addressing the infection is the only solution here. If the weeping is watery clear, then perhaps this is more of an allergic-type reaction that might respond to oral antihistamines such as allegra (fexofenadine). Call md if infected or not better soon.

Different: Common over the counter treatments for insect bites include ice application, washing the area thoroughly (and trying to avoid scratching) to prevent infection and Hydrocortisone cream or calamine lotion. Sronger steroid creams may be prescribed, along with other treatments.

Yes, but: You really shouldn't. You run the risk of prematurely aging your skin as well as increased risk of skin cancers.

Many ways: If you do nothing, they go away, but itch in the meantime.   To control the itch, there are many over the counter itch creams are available including Hydrocortisone  (which i don't think works very well) and non-steroid containing medicated creams like gold bond lotion (which i personally like much better).   There is also benadryl, (diphenhydramine) which works nicely taken orally, but may cause sedation.

Be seen.: First question is are they really insect bites or some other rash? Some people can have an allergic reaction to insect bites called papular urticaria...Easily treated and must eliminate the bugs (usually fleas).

Only: Only if bitten there will it spread to other areas.

Yes: Bug bites should get bigger over the first 2-3 days.  After that, if they continue to enlarge, then infection is likely.  See the doctor for evaluation and treatment.

Insect bites: It sounds like you have post-inflammatory changes where your bites were.  That should fade, but it can take even months in some cases.
