Several ways: Most fertility docs will use a combination of blood tests and ultrasounds to monitor ovulation on clomid (clomiphene). If your doctor is not doing this you can use ovulation predication kits or basal body temperature charting.

Chance is low: It is best to take the birth control pill at about the same time each day.  If the timing is off by some hours the chance of ovulation is very low.  If a pill is 12-24 hrs late there is a small chance of ovulation.  The chance increases if the pill is 1 or 2 or 3 days late.  Take the pill at about the same time to be most effective, but don't worry if some hours off.

Abnormal bleeding: You may have some changes in your menstrual cycles that are normal but you are still ovulating.  Some women will have some spotting for days after their cycle ends, especially if you are using the pill.  I would monitor your cycles for a while to see if this is a normal pattern for you. If it becomes a pattern, i would recommend you talk to your doctor about this.

: Some women who are usually very predictable can skip a cycle occasionally. The amount of delay is unpredictable and there are no real symptoms other than the delay &amp; negative pregnancy tests.  If it goes past two months with a negative pregnancy test many OBGYNs would offer meds to bring on a menses. By that point it would usually be quite heavy.

Stop test after +: You stop doing ovulation kits after it turns positive because it will stay positive for awhile.The hormone it detects lingers leading to the positive result.  If you are having regular periods and your ovulation tests show you are ovulating there is simply no value or utility in repeating them. Have sex after a positive test to maximize chances of getting pregnant

opk had very faint line cd 6-8.cd 11-12 it has no line besides the control line, not even a faint line.i don't ovulate till cd18. y is there no line?

Urine pregnancy test: The first test could have been a false positive.  If you had bleeding after the first test and before the second test you could have miscarried.  The second test says you are not currently pregnant.

How to make a baby: Sperm have to be ready to meet an ovulated egg.  Thus sperm left in the vagina on any or all of the five days before ovulation are the sperm most likely to cause pregnancy.  Sperm left in the vagina on the day of or after ovulation will not reach the egg in time to impregnate it.
