hi,i had several tias (mini stroke) 2 years ago. since this episode, for the past 2 years i've  had on and off numbness within the rear right head.

Doubtful but...: You should be evaluated given your medical history and in particular your history of hypertension.  Please be seen promptly by your physician.

got a random sharp pain behind my left eye. its never happened before. lasted about 2-3 minutes. i was getting in the shower when it started. thought i was having a stroke? does that happen with a stroke? or even a brain aneurysm?

Not a stroke: Could be due to mastoiditis, ear infection, jaw or dental issues, or even greater occipital neuralgia.

Vision loss: There are a number of potential problems associated with sudden vision loss and pain. Some involve the optic nerve, others involve the blood flow to the eye and others involve inflammation in the eye. You need to see an ophthalmologist to sort out your problem.

Yes, it is possible: Possibly a trauma caused a blood vessel in the head to tear. This can result in closing the vessel, causing a stroke. The process is called a dissection. 

Also, a bleed in the head (like a subdural hematoma) can cause symptoms that look like a stroke.

These are all quite serious and need to be evaluated by a physician.

You may need an mra to sort this out.

Headache: Check your blood pressure and make sure your blood pressure is not elevated and causing a headache.  Otherwise it may be a tension headache,  or if you have had migraines or cluster headaches on that side it may be related to that.

Sure wish it could: Stroke is like a heart attack, but it affects brain.  It is indeed a medical emergency, but early rapid treatment with tpa (alteplase) or catheter balloon or extraction can often reverse and stop the potential damage.  So, if you or relations have stroke-like issues have this handled at the nearest hospital.

No: stroke does not cause pain, it causes numbness or weakness. if real u may have degenerative disc disease.
