Yeast vs BV: Bv discharge is thin, clear and smelly (fish odor). Yeast discharge is cottage cheese like, white (milky) and not smelly.

Not usually HSV: Genital herpes usually does not have a white cottage cheese like discharge.  Definitive answer as to what is causing the discharge would be made by testing the discharge at the gyn's office.  Best wishes.

See a doctor ASAP: Any unexplained vaginal discharge needs professional evaluation. Most likely it wasn't yeast; or it was yeast plus something else. Discharge with blood suggests infection. Depending on your sexual risks, I would worry about STDs, especially gonorrhea or chlamydia. See a doctor or clinic ASAP.

Wet Prep Needed: You may or you may not.  There are lots of non-infectious causes for vaginal odor as well.  However, I would strongly recommend being seen for an exam and a test called a "Wet Prep."

Maybe..: If it is clear to white, varies in volume, goes from liquidy to stretchy, has no odor and causes no itching, burning, redness or pain - it could be leukorrhea. This is a normal vaginal secretion. Get checked for any sxs.

OTC yeast meds: Any of the otc yeast medications are safe to use. If the problem persists though you should see your doctor for further testing. Other infections can cause similar symptoms and the only way to know is to get tested.
