If  your partner has any kind of sore on their penis, scrotum or groin, best that they be seen right away by a doctor/np/pa. Some people can have a sexually transmitted disease without a sore. Condoms and dental dams can reduce risk of getting a sexually transmitted disease. Also have yourself checked- women often have no symptoms.
