my son has got damp in his room  and he's got a chesty cough and it stinks like some sort of chemical what does that mean ? and does pneumonia smell

Cough: He may have an allergy to mold and is having asthma. Possibly also bronchitis. I would see his doctor as soon as possible

: Most likely you would have symptoms by now, besides the loss of smell and taste. Any shortness of breath of cough? Fevers, chills, or sweats?  If not, you’re almost out of the woods-four more days.

i tested positive for covid 19 and feels like my right lung is clogged. should i go to er and get tested for pneumonia or what? symptoms are no fever, rarely cough, when i get up i feel weak and lung seem clogged with mucus, lost of smell and taste.

Test/isolate: You may have a sinus infection which is non COVID-19 related, but your loss of taste and smell are among the characteristic features of this infection. Please speak with your PCP, test and then self isolate. Continue to drink fluids, rest and monitor your fever. Watch for signs of distress and if this occurs please see urgent care or emergency care.

i had mild covid and was given dexamethasone to treat mild pneumonia. almost all my symptoms are gone, i have loss of taste and smell, and fatigue here and there. its been 19 days since my first symptoms. am i going to face long covid?complications?

Infection: I am sorry you are suffering from pneumonia.
 The smell is probably from the infection/pus.  Pus is a collection of dead bacteria and dead white blood cells.
An infection caused by anaerobic bacteria can be very smelly. 
Go to a  doctor and get appropriate antibiotics for the pneumonia. Try to relax. Once you get the proper treatment the smell should resolve.

Pneumonia: Usually pneumonia will present with a cough, the child may have fever, chest pain, shortness of air, and when you listen to their chest with a stethoscope you will hear "rales" which are faint sounds over the area of the lung that is involved.  Sometimes also rhonchi, which are tubular sounds made by congestion in the airways.

Corona: The isolation guidelines are good for all sorts of illnesses. Your are older than 70 so your concern about the virus is justified. However, if you do not have a lot of co-morbid conditions your risk of sever illness is low.

Mgt: I would suggest monitoring your temperature, and being seen again by your PCP. The pneumonia may have recurred or resulted in a change in your airways .i would suggest pulmonary testing and an x ray.
