Uncertainty: When a test result comes back as indeterminate, it means "inconclusive."  In other words, the degree of uptake into the mediastinal nodes was neither conclusively normal nor abnormal   Therefore the conclusion is uncertain or indeterminate.  It seems unfair to put you in this medical limbo but your doctor can do further tests to ascertain if the lymph nodes are overactive metabolically.

May be nothing: If the rest of the tests are normal, and the t3ru (t3 (liothyronine) resin uptake) is abnormal, the thyroid is probably working normally. T3ru reflects the amount of thyroid binding proteins in the blood, and can be high in women taking birth control pills, estrogen or who are pregnant. It's main use is to correct total T4 levels for protein changes, but is less useful since most labs check free T4 instead now.

Possible hypothyroid: Thyroid uptake depends on thyroid iodine trapping which is proportional to the rate at which the thyroid is making hormone. The total amount of iodine in the diet is also a major factor. If you use iodized salt and live by the seashore  your body will have more iodine available to dilute the test dose; thus giving a lower uptake value.High sensitivity TSH is a much more reliable indicator.

Risk for MI.: This seems to suggest that the defined areas of the heart are at risk for damage.  This seems to suggest that a blockage exists to the blood flow to those parts of the heart, which can lead to a heart attack.  This needs to be investigated further and treated.  You need an angiogram.

Increased activity: Strong uptake on bone scan means increased metabolic bone activity.  This could indicate inflammation, fracture, infection, and/or bone tumor.  These results usually are considered in the face of plain x-rays and exam to determine the diagnosis.  Sometimes mri/ct scan are also needed.

Tracer uptake: Read the report. But it sounds like it means that there is increased bone metabolism at that location. The radiopharmaceutical maps calcium activity (osteoblastic) of the bone. Can have increased metabolism in response to mechanical stress, a fracture, cancer, infection, and miscellaneous reasons.

Contrast imaging: I take it that you have had a contrast imaging of the knee.
The term means that there is a filling defect in part of the knee (probably cartilage)  that was filled with the contrast material and that how it is shown on the image.
Probably the defect is secondary to overuse of the knee.

Low or high?: Low uptake could indicate hypothyroidism, while high uptake might indicate hyperthyroidism (grave's disease).  The test  (scan) you had would have also detected a hot nodule, which would need to be surgically removed.  But it does not appear by your question that this is of concern.
