Removing fiberglass : From skin is tricky. I've had fiberglass in my skin, so i know it's miserable. 1 method: add 1 cup epsom salt into boiling water. Add this mix to warm bath & soak affected area x 30 min or longer. Rinse w cool water. Method #2:  gently apply duct tape to affected area & then quickly rip off. Don't push don't too firmly because the glass fibers may embed deeper in your skin. Note: may remove hair.

Probably fine.: although there are guidelines for limiting long-term exposure to fiberglass inhalation, there are no guidelines for ingestion by mouth. It is unlikely that a one time ingestion will cause harm. If you are in an environment where fiberglass is present frequently, you may need to take precautions to try to avoid frequent ingestion. Not cancer, at least: All i can say is that there does not seem to be an increased risk for cancer.  (fiber glass exposure and human respiratory system cancer risk: lack of evidence persists since 2001 iarc re-evaluation.Regul toxicol pharmacol.  2011; 60(1):84-92)

there may be other effects such as pulmonary fibrosis (scarring of the lungs) or copd, but I am unaware of studies evaluating for this.

No: Mesothelioma is usually caused by asbestos exposure. There are two types of asbestos involved, the first which causes lung cancer and the second is associated with mesothelioma. Since this is the only thing clearly associated with mesothelioma, all other cases of mesothelioma occur with no clear cause. Asbestos exposure can cause cancer decades after exposure.
