Ultrasound is study using sound waves whuch either pass through tissue or bounce back. Echotexture is nil or black through water ; becomes progressively more white as tissus becomes more dense. Thus white for bone or stone. Dark/hypoechoic texture is usually better.

Eeg interpretations: It is really difficult to interpret the squiggles on an eeg.  Much more difficult than the squiggles of an ekg.  You really have to sit down with your neurologist and have a discussion about your condition which is much more important than the meaning of the wiggles on the paper, and have a discussion about your prognosis (outlook).

Older person: Usually a sign of far advanced age in many older folks and is associated with some decreased mental acuity which is what you see anyway in people with far advanced age.  Not reversible.  Be nice told people!
