Diet pills only help to get you jump started on your diet. What you need is a change in you eating habits and exercise.

Not unless euthyroid: If you mean your thyroid level is still not properly corrected, then, no, it is not likely that any diet med/option will help lose weight. If you are on meds and thyroid stimulating hormone is down, then any good program that you commit to will help, average maintainable loss is 1-2 pounds per week, so be patient with your efforts.

COMMIT: Commit to long-term lifestyle change.  It is a marathon, not a sprint. Get help from nutritionist and coach.  Do not rely on diet pills.  You don't say how overweight you are, but losing 1-2 pounds a week is usually sustainable and healthy. Do not starve yourself ("no food") because that will in the long run harm your body. Groups like weight watchers, oa, and tops can help with accountability.

however, they are all prescription medications, there are no over the counter pills that work
be safe and see a doctor for your prescription, do not buy them over the internet, you dont know what you are getting.
