Not sure but: Difficult to say for sure but hernias can occur in area and become irritated, old scar tissue or granuloma from prior surgery, rarely a sinus or fistula especially in crohn's disease, tumor or tumor related lymph node occur there, eczema, maceration from obesity, yeast infection. Best to have examined, a scraping for exam under microscope, culture and possibly an ultrasound or ct scan. Get an exam.

Musculoskeletal: Sounds like it is musculoskeletal in nature.  Probably related to stretching of tissues in the abdominal wall around the region where the muscle fibers / tendons and fascial pieces come together.  This may eventually become a hernia although it may just resolve.  No need to worry unless this is progressive.

: Pain adjacent to the navel can be from a tiny hernia. More commonly right lower abdominal pain, especially with associated tenderness, is due to acute appendicitis. For this reason, I recommend being examined in the hospital emergency room ASAP where prompt care and testing are available.

Progressive pain that starts around the navel and moves to the RLQ along with fever and nausea/V needs to be assessed for appendicitis, but more common are viral  gastroenteritis, constipation, indigestion, gas from lactose intolerance, gluten sensitivity, imbalanced diet, or nervous stomach.
