how long does it take topical treatment for tinea manuum to work?

Tinea: Tinea manum is essentially athlete's foot of the hand.  Prescription treatment should only take 2 weeks to work.  Otc meds may not work or may take much longer.  I see a lot of "fungus" that is not fungus--no scraping or diagnosis was confirmed.  So see your doctor to verify the condition and get a strong enough treatment to fix it.

Maybe wound healing: Although this isn't conclusive, and like all supplements/otc/"natural remedies", this is an industry that isn't well regulated - meaning you can't always trust that it's not contaminated, and it contains what it says it contains.  Personally, i'm not going to be spreading honey on my scrapes anytime soon. I'm going to wait for more conclusive studies... And stick to bandaids in the meantime.

No endorsement: The physicians here do not endorse any products.  But, honey is 100% sugar.  High content sugar diets lead to diabetes and/ or obesity. I would not want my patients using much of this in their diets.
