Need more info: Hard to answer this question without knowing more about the type of chills (shaking, persistent, frequent), and other symptoms which may be occurring in the same or near time periods.  Have you taken your temperature when this happens, are there chances you may be infected with something?

Could be: The symptoms you describe could very well be anxiety, even you if don't feel anxious.  People with panic attacks and panic disorder have similar symptoms. Since other conditions may cause those symptoms, you should get checked by your family physician or internist, and if they recommend a consultation with a psychiatrist, i would follow their advice. Treatment is very effective and safe.

Adrenaline: Yes.  Although not FDA approved for this, B-blockers are sometimes used to control anxiety in situations, such as public speaking, actors, etc.  Talk to your doctor.

i havent slept the greatest the last 5 nights. i have been dealing with random adrenaline rushes and hypnic jerks a lot while trying to sleep or rolling around when i wake up and go back to sleep. should i be concerned?

Fight, flight or ...:  We all react differently in potential life threatening situations. Some feel numb and freeze only to be yanked by their dogs. Other have flight - and run away fast and still others fight- and take on the aggressor.

can bisoprolol withdrawal cause hyperthyroidism? i've had a fast heart rate, aches on my legs, back. and feeling tired from that adrenaline feeling

May feel like it: bisoprolol is a beta blocker and needs to be tapered off gradually depending on your dose and the length of time you have been on it.  If you stop it abruptly you will have tachycardia, possible palpitations and feel generally terrible.  Yes those symptoms are similar to hyperthyroid symptoms!  See your doctor!  Your blood pressure is probably high too!!!

Medication?  : You could be having a reaction to medication, or too much caffeine.  You could also have over active thyroid or other medical problems.  Check with your doctor to be sure.

: My first rule out would be you are hyperthyroid.  Have you been tested for that.  Did Dr feel your thyroid. Discuss with them.
