Many causes: Without more history, i can only provide a differential diagnosis list:  fibromyalgia, polymyalgia, prodrome of rheumatoid arthritis, and other inflammatory diseases such as takayasu's arteritis and other forms of vasculitis.  Hope this helps.

See below: You could still be dehydrated so continue drinking fluids however there could be many reasons for the back pain and a examination by a doctor is necessary.

You need to : See an internist for further examination there are many reasons you can have these symptoms. You may have a virus like mononucleosis. A doctor would be able to make a diagnosis after a thorough exam which may include bloodwork, throat culture etc.

Yes but: The level of dehydration necessary to cause kidney failure relates to the diminished blood flow through the kidney.If it drops the blood pressure low enough that the blood flow cannot nourish the kidney cells, they will become injured & eventually fail. Some kidney injury can occur but heal if proper fluid balance is restored & the blood returns to nourish the kidneys.

: "Deep breaths" associated with sharp flank pain may be due to kidney injury b/c of "dehydration", but may also arise from pleural inflammation/irritation  (the lining of the chest cavity and lung surface),  denoting some temporary adhesion when the diaphragm is fully employed in the breath.

: Typically, mild dehydration by itself would not be enough to cause irreversible kidney damage that is clinically relevant. It is better for your body to be well hydrated, including the kidneys. Stone yes, others no: Kidney stones certainly can cause gross hematuria, but not necessarily. Physican activign and dehydration cannot; they have nothing to do with the bleeding.
