No: Norethindrone will not prevent weight loss.     You can take any sort of multivitamin, but they will not facilitate weight loss directly.    Diet and exercise are the key.

forgot to take extra boxes of birth control out of car. i take norethindrone tablets. they were in the car for 5-6 days and temperatures have dropped down to 30. are they still effective?

Unlikely any change: That's like keeping pills in the refrigerator or its freezer. Cold temperature should not affect the ingredients. Most likely, the pills are still the same. That means the tiny chance of getting pregnant on birth control pills is essentially the same, with the "car" pills or with "non-car" pills.

No dif than others: This birth-control bill will have no side effects different than any other birth control pill. Typical side effects may include nausea and breast tenderness. All birth-control pills will help with cycle regulation.

No: Eleven minutes late is too late if a person is trying to get on a plane after the gate door has locked, but 11 minutes makes no difference with birth control pills. The usual instructions for when to take a birth control pill that was forgotten earlier the same day, is to take it as soon as one remembers it and then stay on one's usual pill-taking time schedule. If worried, ask the prescribing Dr.

OCP efficacy : As with all oral contraceptives (especially Progesterone only pills) it is important to take the pills at consistent time each day. If you have been taking them consistently since your last period it does not matter what time of day you take it or when you have sex, for that matter. More important is the consistent daily use.

Not yet: I would recommend that you try to stick with the Micronor (norethindrone) or a few more weeks or even a month if you can.  Often it takes time for the body to adjust to Micronor (norethindrone).  If you switch now, it could lead to even longer irregularity

Within 2 weeks: You should get a withdrawal period within 2 weeks after taking the last pill. Most times it starts within 7 days.

Take Plan B: Micronor (norethindrone) is most effective if you are also breast-feeding.  If you are missing pills (and not taking them at around the same time every day) your chances of pregnancy are increased and its recommended that you use a back-up method such as condoms to prevent pregnancy.   Taking 2 pills in one day will work if you only missed one pill the day before but if you have missed more than that it may not.

EC: A search of the databases for alternative morning after pills yields no information on Norethindrone as a morning after pill. Since Plan B is available to you over the counter in the us, i would suggest using plan b. The sooner you take it after unprotected intercourse the higher the effectiveness.
