Yes: At least in the US all dentists use universal precautions that protect themselves &amp; the patient from chance exposure to germs of any sort. The idea of MRSA carrier is something of a myth. MRSA is readily found in the environment in general &amp; accounts for 70% of outpatient boils treated by docs. You are exposed to it every day several time whether you are aware or not.

No worries: Not to worry. Likely some slight remnants of the bleeding . Try scraping your tongue with floss or your toothbrush. Easy way is to stick your tongue way out and then put the brush on top of tongue near the back and then pull your tongue back in. Better than shoving the brush way back in to the throat area. If it does not clear up , see the surgeon. Good Luck.

Pointy cuspids: I wouldn't be concerned about sharper than normal canine teeth. It certainly doesn't require extraction. Yes, they can be easily reshaped. Discuss this issue with your own dentist for best advice.

From photos-: From the photos alone it looks fine. If you have no pain and no swelling, i wouldn&#x27;t be concerned. You can always call the surgeon to discuss any issues and ask to be seen for post-op evaluation.
