Most patients: Experience no side effects.  Having said that, some patients can develop dry mouth, headache, nausea, agitation, tremor, even seizures.  Most non serious side effects occurr in the first 7-10 days.

Many options: Under your psychiatrist supervision and recommendation, other ssri/snri are sertraline, venlafaxine, paroxetine, fluoxetine, duloxetine. Mirtazapine, old antidepressants, even ect; augmentation with other types of meds are also possibilities. Wellbutrin (bupropion) might be increased? Psychotherapy as an adjuvant should be a non pharmacological method to consider. Ask your psychiatrist. You will feel better.

SSRI's failed: So one SSRI may work when another does not. Keep trying. There is a new one called Brintillex which has much greater effectiveness in the reported studies. 
Also a Selegeline patch may prove effective.

There is a genetic predisposition to having side effects to certain drugs and there are tests available to find out which individuals are more likely to have a side effect to a particular drug.

Buspirone  is an anti-anxiety drug, but both Prozac and Wellbutrin (bupropion) can potentially exacerbate anxiety. There are many other potential options if Buspirone is not beneficial, but I would not abandon it before max dose of 60 mg/d. It should be taken 3-4 times dailu
