Alternatively, you might want to ask about haircuts that compliment your wavy hair.  In general, the more chemicals and procedures your hair endures, the less likely it is to look shiny &amp; healthy.

Possibly: There are endocrine and other problems that effect hair appearance.   Nonetheless,  we most often can't readily determine the cause.  Most people would start with hair products that are known to moisten and thicken hair.  In Chinese medicine there are herbs that could possibly help.

The products that 'repair' your hair are simply coating the hair shaft. Though this may have the advertised effect, it will quickly fade when you stop using the product.  The cure is to stop the using heat and chemicals that cause the damage in the first place.
