Not necessarily: The description you provided only points to chronic inflammation without any indication of the causative factor. Hpv infection can be tested for specifically in a biopsy and you may wish to discuss that with your doctor.

i have around 5+ large, fleshy colored bumps on the back of my throat. could they be warts? or what are they? i don't have tonsils, if that helps.

R/O HPV: HPV ARE A  GROUP OF VIRUSES THAT CAUSE LESIONS ON THE VAGINAL/PENILE/ORAL/RECTAL MUCOSA. YOU NEED TO BE EXAMINED BY AN  ENT AND HAVE A  BX OR EXCISION IF INDICATED. SOME STRAINS INCREASE THE RISK OF CANCER.

i have hpv warts and they haven't gone away after two years. i've also had swollen tonsils for about 1 year and 4 months. there's no pain, but sometimes there's itchiness and for the past few months skin has been peeling from my cheek.will i be okay?

: Genital warts can be removed by freezing, laser ablation, or chemical destruction. The process may be available as an office procedure an many areas or as outpatient surgery. Those whose warts fail to resolve in 2 years may see them recur. I see no link between the genital warts and the tonsils.

Of course you can!: Don't let yourself suffer like this. The infection that you experienceD, is not caused by the chicken. It is caused by  bacteria. Therefore, if you prepare the chicken appropriately and you wash your hands, there is no reason why you can't eat chicken after you have typhoid. Bon appetite!

Perineal warts are: Caused by hpv 16, 18. No oral/pharyngeal warts, but oropharyngeal cancers.  Infection seems relatively innocuous, it's the long term risk.  There is not a clinical test to discern pharyngeal incorporation into dna...That would require biopsy. The p-16 protein may be detectable, but may not be specific for hpv.

Not necessarily: Warts are contagious and there is a risk of getting the warts from the experience you described.

Possibly: This virus (hpv) is very easily transmitted by direct contact, and it is likely that if you are performing oral sex unprotected that you may become infected. If you already have cervical cancer you have probably been previously infected with one of the hpv strains causing this. Might be wise to be immunized.
