today it is a warm weather here 60 degrees and i dressed a cropped top. went outside and felt very cold in waistline area where it was open. does exposing that area to cold really harm uterus or ovaries or is it old wives tale?

Probably gas: Even if you may not be passing any gas, it can produce this sensation by moving around in your larger intestines which are closer to your uterus area. take some over the counter antacid to see if the symptom goes away. Make sure also you are not constipated by taking enough fiber and limit mild intake as Sometimes lactose intolerance may result in extra gas production.
