Probably not, but...: Most likely not, but it would be best evaluated by physical exam.  Have a doctors or mid level provider examine you.

Not DM related: The child sounds uncomfortable. Hard to know what is going on without an exam. Please contact his pediatrician to have him evaluated, asap if the pain is severe. Make sure blood sugars are ok, please.

muscle spasms: The most common reason for this complaint is muscle spasms of the intercostal muscles between the ribs, which is most frequently due to nerve irritation.  This is best treated with anti-inflammatories such as Naproxen to decrease the inflammation of both the nerve and the muscle.

See your family doc.: This could simply be musculoskeletal back pain that physical therapy would help.  Your primary care doc should rule out  other conditions it could be.

i fell hard three days ago, landed on my hands/knees.  soon after  the right side of my chest and rib cage became very tender. pain has diminished some. still hurts to lay on my back or to press on chest. did not fall on torso just hands/knees. ???

The impact of fall: Although you fell on your hands and knees, the fall impacted your whole body, hands/knees were in the forefront but the wave was transmitted to your core as well. Kindly rest, use nsaids/acetaminophen, unless contraindicated, if no improvement see your doctor, wish you wellness

Chest?: It is difficult to tell what is exactly the problem without knowing what other symptoms you are having. Is there shortness of breath, nausea, vomiting, sweating? If so then you need to go to the ed in order to rule out any cardiac issues. Other possibilities are abdominal problems which cover a number of issues. Also muscular and rib inflammation which carries no danger to life. Get checked asap.

took breztri aerosphere for 1st time. got terrible back ache that felt like my lower back ache, but higher up on my back-under rib cage. the ache travel up my back (bottom to top of rib cage). may this be paradoxical bronchosasm an adverse reaction?

: It is more likely that you have muscular strain. Some pulmonary conditions such as a collapsed lung may present in this manner. If you have any shortness of breath or persistent pain, please see urgent care or the Emergency room. Discuss the use of a heating pad and NSAID with your physician. Rinse mouth after use of inhalers and discuss a vitamin D level with your PCP.

Get checked out: It coiuld be a sprain or a fractured rib or some other internal injury to the lungs. You need to be seen by a doctor.
