Post Op: I would believe this is yes, of course. But you failed to mention what type of abortion you had, what, if any, medications you are on. And, what your physician counseled you about or what post op instructions you were given.

See your doctor: This problem mandates a real-time (face-to-face) meeting with a doctor.  A history has to be taken along with a examination as well as labs and other tests.  Only after all this will your doctor be in a position to tell you what's wrong and what needs to be done to help you.

Get seen: IF she had an abortion - a few things - she can have an infection - or she might have RETAINED products of conception.   So, she needs to get seen for this.

Emesis post ab: For emesis there are medications , zofran and phenergan, which are prescription in the US. The emesis may be hormonal from the pills but if it persists or &gt; 6 episodes follow up with doctor as they may be retained products or other issues regarding  the abortion that have to be addressed

Not likely, but call: Contact or go to the clinic/doctor who performed the procedure. They need to know how you're doing and can either make things right toward recovery and healing or reassure you if these are normal after-effects and you just need to be patient. They can't help if they don't know. Also, this is a hard time - you might want to talk w/ a supportive counselor - they may know one to refer you to. Best!

See your doctor: I would suggest seeing your doctor. You could have an infection. Pregnancy is possible, but not as likely.

Maybe: You can ovulate 2 weeks after an abortion (conception happens with ovulation). Typically symptoms don't begin until 3 weeks after ovulation. Check a test to be sure.

Get checked: What you describe is probably just a significant period. However, you cannot rule out infection with your symptoms retained products of conception or an incomplete abortion are common.  For this reason you must be checked soon to assess for an infection which can be life-threatening. Please see the doctor soon as you can.

: "Medical abortion" is not always a definitive method for ending a pregnancy. Obtain a serum HCG to detect even low levels of pregnancy hormone to be certain about the successful completion of the abortive process. See your physician for the nausea and vomiting for guidance.

This isn't  normal : It is important that you go see a physician to better determine what is causing your symptoms  There are times after an abortion that all remnants are not removed or you may have an additional type of pregnancy going on. These symptoms are not normal after pregnancy and should be reviewed by a physician and have further workup.
