Shouldn't: Those large veins in the labia can look very alarming - but as soon as the baby is born, all the pressure is relieved and they will decompress right away. There can be a risk of bleeding during a vaginal delivery - but it is usually managed easily.

Vaginal veins.: Vaginal veins are actually quite common during pregnancy and tend to worsen as the duration of the pregnancy increases.  They can be due to back flow (reflux) either through the ovarian, hypogastric or saphenous veins.  Once the pregnancy is over, the veins usually resolve.  During pregnancy, support panty hose and leg elevation may help.  After delivery, see a vein specialist.

Vaginal tissue: Sounds like a blood clot, menstrual tissue or an early miscarriage.

Could be either: A bulging area on the vaginal lips could be a boil or a vein among other things such as cysts and fatty growths.  A boil is usually swollen and red around it to suggest infection whereas a vein may or may not be tender.  A clotted(thromboses)vein usually is hard and tender.  Sometimes it is difficult to distinguish between the two and your best bet would be to see a gynecologist or vein doctor.

: Not uncommon, especially if you are sexually active. If it is not painful you may wait to see if it resolves but ultimately may need to consult your gyn

Get a vaginal exam: Vaginal varicose veins occur mostly during pregnancy, in the second and third trimester. It could be something else. Varicose veins are not sore unless they are thrombosed  or inflamed.

what is the vagina supposed to look like? i feel like mine is abnormal. the tissue inside looks white instead of pink or red and like i have what looks like huge white veins coming out. this is on the inside, not outside?
