Natural product: I assume you are doing well on Wellbutrin (bupropion) and Celexa, in appropriate therapeutic doses. Valerian is a natural product used for anxiety but most of all as a sleep aid. I don't believe there is any incompatibility if you do well with it.

SSRI antidepressant: Citalopram is a ssri medication used to treat anxiety and depression disorders, it's also used to treat ptsd and ocd. It takes 4 to 6 weeks to be fully effective. Side effects; sedation, minor temporary stomach issues, delayed orgasm in males and rarely weight gain. It is also approved for adolescents.

Depends: I assume you are meaning to alternate days so you are effectively taking less of the med equivalent to about 15mg.  It depends on what your effective dose is.  You might dip below a therapeutic dose and have symptoms return.  If the reduction is due to side effects, consider a switch to Lexapro (escitalopram) which is more potent and side effects may be less.

Celexa (citalopram): Side effects of Celexa (citalopram) include erectile dysfunction, decrease in sex drive & ejaculation issues. Other common side effects are insomnia, sweating, shakiness, drowsiness & dry mouth. Loose bowel movement, abdominal pain, vomiting, nausea, loss of appetite & heartburn can also occur, as well as anxiety, fatigue, fever & muscle pain.

Midol and Celexa (citalopram): Interactions between drugs are always possible, but it unlikely to encounter a serious adverse interaction with this combination, specially if the individual has normal liver and kidney function and no predisposition or risk factor to GI bleeding.  The combination of Citalopram with the formulation of Midol that contains NSAIDS could potentially increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding.
