Should not: If you are having this symptom - you need to get checked for possible Preterm labor, especially since you are 26 weeks and if you do have PTL - you need treatment immediately

Chemical reaction: Whatever was used in the douche is chemically reacting with the vaginal fluids and producing burning. Douching is, for he most part, unnecessary and take this as a "hint" to stop the practice before more serious health issues arise.

OK: It is ok to try and otc remedy first, but if you're concerned about having an std, get tested. Stds don't always have obvious symptoms. Also, if you try an otc product and it doesn't work, it always makes sense to be seen.

You may be pregnant: If you missed two pills you may be pregnant- get a serum pregnancy test in two weeks, use back up contraception until you have been on your pill for 4 weeks.  You may have had a slight vaginal tear after intercourse- monitor this-mif symptoms worsen, see your physician.

Healing: It sounds like you had a tear or an episiotomy that is taking a while to recover fully.  There can be some persistent discomfort in the perineal /vaginal area for several months after delivery with a tear or episiotomy and repair.  Especially if you breastfeed, which changes the normal hormonal balance of the vagina and lowers estrogen production which can cause dryness of the vaginal tissue.

Not necessarily.: Early pregnancy sxs can include: no period, breast swelling ; tenderness w darkened areolas, thin, white ; milky vaginal discharge, fatigue, ^ urination frequency, constipation, bloating, heartburn, backache, cramping, headache, food cravings or aversions, ^ sense of smell, enlarged waist, feeling faint/dizzy, mood swings, ^ gas, insomnia, gagging more easily ; yawning.

my period is expected next month.i have strtd experiencing vaginal pain every 5-6 hours and it lasts 2 minutes.is this normal?

Not normal: Vaginal pain coming every 5-6 hours is strange. Referred pain from the intestines from gas or constipation seems like one possibility. A badder infection could be another. If this continues an exam will be needed.
