Ouch: A clumpy (cottage cheese- like), white, non- odorous discharge associated w itching, burning, swelling or redness can be due to yeast infections. If you have a change in color, texture, odor or amount of vaginal discharge ; problems such as pain, itching burning with urination or sex or redness/swelling  then it is best to see your gynecologist for evaluation ; accurate assessment.

Would get underwear: that doesn't ride up. It may just be irritated from friction.  However:  Yeast can present with clumpy, white vaginal discharge to a watery, white discharge. Sometimes a discharge is not apparent. There is no odor. It can cause swelling and redness of vulva along with itching and burning pain. It may lead to pain with urination or intercourse.

BV is not particularly dangerous but suggests a significant disruption in the normal bacterial flora.The most important thing is to make sure you haven't acquired a more harmful sexually transmitted infection. See a doctor as tests need to be performed/condition treated, either with oral and/or topical meds. Always use condoms!
