is it possible to fall pregnant with a cyst in my uterus and what is the chance of the pregnancy being successful?

Size site # matter: If your concern is about the impact of uterine fibroids(also called benign  myoma or fibromyoma) on your fertility and on your pregnancy, the answers will depend on the size, the location and the number of these benign tumors in your uterus. thanks  for the answer. the ultrasound from last month showed my ovaries and uterus looked fine and out of cyst. worry about ectopic pregnancy?

Why worry : Ovarian cysts are very common. They usually do not predispose you to ectopic pregnancy. There is no mention of an associated problem which may predispose to an ectopic pregnancy so I would not worry about.  Ectopic pregnancy can occur without any cause so it is good to be followed by your obstetrician  to be certain

Can't wait?: A pregnancy test can detect a new baby 1 week after conception, but an ultrasound scan won't detect a baby until 3 weeks after conception. Abortion medicine is by prescription, so a woman goes to her Ob-Gyn doctor to be evaluated for it. The doctor will talk with the patient to be sure that the patient is making a good permanent decision, because abortion is a hard decision for any woman to make.

Depends: Cysts on ovaries?
May scar them which are needed for eggs.
Cysts of uterus are uncommon- check with him what the anatomy is/ was?
Fallopian tubes - at least one must be intact non cystic and not scarred to allow eggs to travel from ovary to uterus to implant with healthy sperm to make a pregnancy.

Did u ask your OB: It usually goes away by 10-11 weeks because that is when the placenta takes over for the hormones, but a cyst can persist into the 2nd trimester , if it does it just needs to be followed to make sure it is getting smaller an not larger, the pain should not be getting worse because that could signal the cyst is growing or has twisted or ruptured and your OB should be following u closely.

Pregnancy: As long as your doctors left behind some normal ovarian tissue you should be fine.  However, if you were told you have polycystic ovarian syndrome, you may require some assistance getting pregnant.  In general having cysts won't complicate pregnancy once you've conceived.

Probably not: Most ovarian cysts to not affect the outcome of pregnancy.  Very rarely, a cyst will get very large and need to be removed surgically during pregnancy but even then the pregnancy outcome is still just fine.  Best wishes!

Pilonidal cyst: 34 w: The cystic area can be drained with a small incision to relieve pain, but definitive removal of the pilonidal cystic area should wait until after delivery.
