Only if on coumadin (warfarin): Vitamin k interferes with the actions of coumadin, (warfarin) but that it a big reason i don't like coumadin, (warfarin) as people on it suffer from lack of vit k. It makes more sense to take a steady amount of k-rich foods & adjust Coumadin (warfarin) dose accordingly. Some say to avoid k if you have g-6-pd deficiency, are on dialysis or have cirrhosis, but foods high in k should be fine; they just should not supplement with it.

i have thrombocytosis.can i continue to eat foods high in vitamin k?if so, will i be at risk for cva or mi?

Yes: Vitamin k merely keeps your clotting factors normal. This is a whole different division from the platelet department, and in fact interfering with these doesn't protect about the problems that thrombocytosis may cause.  Your physician can manage your thrombocythosis -- i'm guessing you have essential thrombocythemia -- often the best treatment is "do nothing." best wishes.

Coumadin (warfarin): if you are taking Coumadin (warfarin) then you are right. If you take such good then have your INR checked and then take those foods on a consistent basis. So either take them and continue to or never consume them. Have to pick one of two and get your INR checked.

Anyone on coumadin (warfarin): Vitamin k does not affect autoimmune diseases per se, but it does interact with coumadin (warfarin).

None that I am : Aware of unless you are on Coumadin (warfarin) for pulmonary embolus as vitamin k interferes with coumadin (warfarin).

Green leafy foods: Vitamin k is found in many foods, including some grains and fruits, but the major source is green leafy vegetables, with kale, collards, spinach, swiss chard and turnip greens having the highest concentrations.

Vit K from greens &: One can get good amounts of vit k from dark leafy greens, esp. Kale, collards, spinach, beet, dandelion, turnip & mustard greens, broccoli, brussel sprouts, scallions, lettuce, spinach, asparagus etc. 
Outside of fish it is difficult to get adequate vit d from food- we need about 4000-8000 units/day for optimal levels.This is best from sun mid april- mid oct., in winter months i advise supplements!

my doctor ordered a pt test, cbc test, and metabolic test. i have discoloration and bruising around my eyes. i eat huge amount of spinach, and foods high in folate, iron and vitamin k. should i stop eating those foods for a few days before the tests?

Check with PCP: If you have nasal congestion or inflammation, this may result in discoloration around the eyes as well. If there was no mention of changing your diet, it should be fine. 
Please check though with your PCP for additional advise.

is horseradish high in vitamin k.  there are contradictions on the internet?

Depends on part!: The reason for the contradiction is that the root (the part that is usually eaten) is not high in Vit K (only 2 mcg per 100 grams which is over 3 ounces) whereas the leaves contain 123 mcg per 100 grams- but I don't know anyone who eats horseradish leaves.
