Yes: You may have both or either
start with otc for vaginal yeast and if no better than go to dr to check for UTI and abx may be needed.

Perhaps: Normal urine color ranges from pale yellow to deep amber — the result of a pigment called urochrome and how diluted or concentrated the urine is.

Some foods can cause a change in the pigment (i.e. Beet) and some vegetables can cause cloudy and odor to it.

It usually means: That you need to drink more water. Your kidneys are working fine but your urine should be light and straw colored if you have been drinking enough water. Fluids with caffeine don't count because they dehydrate you. You should have 8 full glasses of water a day!

Yes and no. : In general, if you are well hydrated, your urine will become more dilute as your body eliminates surplus water. Urine can appear clear and colorless. If you ingest foods or vitamins that color the urine, urine appearance is no longer a good gauge of hydration status. The importance of 'staying hydrated' is likely somewhat overstated, so be careful when consuming large volumes of free water.

New med: If starting new me like a statin , you may experience muscle pain and breakdown (rhabdomyolysis).  Discontinue medicine and see primary Doctor.  Liver disorders can cause dark urine though described as orange usually.  Any recent muscle injury my cause rhabdomyolysis though usually has to be significant.

Review al medications with Doctor.  Remain well hydrated

Dehydration: If the color of the urine improves/lightens with increased fluids, then it is likely from dehydration.

recently sometimes my urine is dark yellow although i drink much water. then i drink more and it turns completely normal, pale straw.if there was an underlying problem, would it be persistently dark instead of going back to normal by itself?

: Transient urine discoloration.  I suspect food additive or medication including multivitamin as culprit.
Persistent dark smokey urine suggests hematuria (red blood cells in urine) and deserves medical attention.

Vitamins: Your body is "peeing out" all the extra vitamins you do not need.  Usually the b vitamins make urine very yellow.    Stay well hydrated.  Ask your doctor if you actually need to take a daily vitamin.  Those who eat a healthy diet with plenty of veggies and some protein usually don't need a supplement.

hi, for the past weeks my urine is dark yellow i try to stay hydrated still. i also wake up about 5 times to pee at night and there is small pain just under my stomach

You need to have: an "in person" visit to your Primary Care Provider.. Liver/Gallbladder testing may be necessary in addition to an examination of your urine!
