Not with "Infuenza": Many things get called "the flu" but actual influenza is a respiratory illness that does not cause gastrointestinal symptoms.

Not likely?: It's early, so it's hard to tell; however, if you don't have the other flu symptoms, this sounds like a gastrointestinal issue, either a food poisoning incident or a viral gastroenteritis.

Depends: Depending on your age and if antibiotics were given during this illness it is not uncommon to have lightheadedness and diarrhea after a viral illness. If you have a fever more than three or four days or the diarrhea is greenish color see your PCP.

More info?: There are many causes of back pain.  When do you get pain? What type? How long does it last? Anything make it better? Anything make it worse? Does food affect the pain? Have you had any surgery ? How long has it been there? Have you tried any medications? Did they work? Did you injure yourself? Pulled muscle etc? Has anyone done any studies? See a doctor for exam and studies.

Please see PCP: It is possible that your child also has contracted Mumps or another illness.  Adenoviral infection should also be considered.

Dyspepsia: Are your symptoms related to reflux or hyperacidity? If so, these medications should offer relief quickly. If you're referring to postmeal bloating and belching or bile reflux, they may not be effective. Try following a bland, fat free diet, avoid alcohol, caffeine, nicotine and take mylanta 1/2 hour after meals and at bedtime. Take either deliant or zantac daily. See a gastroenterologist as neede
