Cervical irritation: It is not uncommon to have bleeding or spotting after sex if the cervix is irritated or inflamed.  There are other causes so if you have not had a Pap or exam in a while it would be worth doing so

Rule out pregnancy: "Unprotected sex" that is vaginal sexual intercourse  with a fertile man increases your risk of pregnancy and possibly of sexually transmitted infection. To be safe, check your blood beta HCG pregnancy test ASAP. If it is negative, ask a knowledgeable and caring Gyn for the most effective contraceptives which are an IUD or a subdermal contraceptive implant. Use condoms too.

Could be due to pill: Morning after pill has very good protective chance from getting pregnant if taken within 12 hours.
It is made of high dose of progesterone, a female hormone, and it might cause some changes of the period that  follows.
I would suggest to check for pregnancy anyway to make sure you are not pregnant, and if the period changes persist, see your doctor.

Define the issue: Some women skip an occasional menses &amp; some don't have menses because they are pregnant. You can get an over the counter pregnancy test at many dollar stores or drug stores. If she is pregnant, you will need to discuss your options with her health care provider.

Likely: Likely, but condoms will back you up.  The first week of pills are very important in preventing ovulation

Pregnant?: Using the pull-out method is a good way to get pregnant as sperm are still secreted prior to ejaculation.   If you missed your period, you should do a home pregnancy test.  They are available at the pharmacy without a prescription.   If you really don't want to get pregnant, you should consider using a more reliable method of pregnancy prevention.  Best wishes!

This sounds normal: after a depo injection.  She can always take a home pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy.  The shot does nothing to protect against disease so condoms should still be worn.
