gi r/o ibd and dx'd me w/ibs, but things have gotten really bad this week. constant pain. 10-20 bms/day. lots of food in stool totally undigested. maroon stool (home fobt negative though). advice?

FIBER not digestible: Fiber is not digestible! many foods can pass through the G.I. Tract intact; corn kernals with their waxy covering can get through easily. Another cause of undigested food is increased transit time during diarrheal illness or irritable bowel syndrome--foods just get through faster.

I am not sure: Gastroparesis is what the name is saying namely the stomach does not empty and food stagnates there 4 hours. Usually it could be part of paresis of the entire GI tract and in this case constipation could be present. If there are difficulties in digesting too i think is possibly to have fat steatorrhea (fat in stool). As far as i know however fat in stool causes loose stools...See an GI  guy!
