Thyroid recurs: Thyroid disease recurrence means you were in remission meaning normal and now new symptoms which should feel same as before if you had thyroditis it is possible you go from over active to under active.

? Anxiety, lo blood: sugar, or another reason, you still want to follow up with your doctor on this, an endocrinologist input would help, meanwhile, keep yourself well hydrated and nourished, exercise can help too, good luck

Doubt your label: Kids are often born with low thyroid hormone production but rarely if ever without the gland. The hormone it needs to make is easily provided as a once a day supplement, with dose based on size and verified by blood testing. There is no "natural" treatments. There is no special diet.Failure to treat results in permanent brain damage and growth failure.

is it possible to feel worse when thyroid is normal&feel much better when hyper.like something is low/out of balance, that thyroid needs2 compensate.it happens every year for at least 5yrs.now.pls help?

Subjective feelings: Of discomfort can be present when taking thyroid med even when the lab work is w/in normal limits.  Please don't adjust your meds yourself.  Speak to your doc about your symptoms so he/she can help you.  Peace and good health.

what does a nodule in your thyroid feel like?

Depends on size: You might not feel anything if it's small.  Otherwise, it could feel like a lump, a node and if it's big enough, it can feel like a growth/mass on your neck.  If it's liquid, like a cyst, it could be soft.  If it's a solid growth, it could be rubbery and if it's calcified, it could have a rock/hard feel to it.

Varies: Nodules may be visible lumps beneath the surface or invisible ones in the body of the organ, that may be palpable by trained fingers. Ultrasound & radionuclide scans are used to visualize & help characterize them. See doc for thyroid blood tests & follow-up imaging studies if needed.

i've been slim all my life. i weigh like 120 and am like 5'5..how below average is my weight and what can i do to gain weight? my thyroid is normal.

Weight: Your bmi is, like,  20.  In a woman, this could be very normal.  If you are menstruating regularly, that would be a good indicator of normalcy.  In a man, this is also normal assuming the man has a lean body build.  Resistance exercise (weight lifting) along with a healthy diet may help bulk you up.

suddn coughing within 2 to 3 days gap.gets normal itself in few mins .have been like this frm 2 weeks.no other symptms.bp also normal.thyroid problem?

Episodic cough: It may be due to allergins. If there is wheezing with cough then asthma has to be considered in diagnosis.
