Consider salicylic acid.R.

Scientific Rx: Two weeks trial of topical benzoyl peroxide alone. This clears most mild acne. If not clear, physician's office visit. Tough cases referred for isotretinoin. Manage as a chronic disease. Good luck.

Acne mechanica: I'll bet it's from something you do while exercising. Do you do bench presses? Try topical benzoyl peroxide; if this doesn't work, your physician may offer you a short course of antibiotic if it bothers you -- and it may not.
