i suddenly developed allergy to seafood. can drinking turmeric with milk help?

Accepted Answer

Avoid seafood: The best treatment for food allergy in general and seafood allergy in particular is complete avoidance of seafood.  In case of accidental seafood ingestion/exposure treatment with Epinephrine can be life saving.  Drinking turmeric with milk will not  prevent, delay or treat a food allergic reaction. Seafood allergy that presents in adulthood is most likely going to be long lasting.

to follow up on dr. heip le question. my wife takes the following pills. keppra (for epilepsy), loratadine(for allergies), baclofen,turmeric, meloxicam, cyclobenzaprine, and magnesium pills to try to help stop the muscle spasms i be having?

: Your wife is not taking any medication which I mentioned in the previous comment. 
Does she take Baclofen, Cyclobenzaprine, Turmeric, Meloxicam and Magnesium just for the cramping? That means she was already evaluated by a doctor. What's his (her) thought about the cause?
Except Keppra, I would advise to stop the above med one by one, especially Meloxicam which can can cause gastroduodenal ulcer.

i took turmeric day before yesterday had very yellow stool but this morning stool was normal color but yellow when i wipe. i have no other symptoms?

: Yes, turmeric is recognized as possibly turning stool yellow and even the pattern you describe seems to validate it as there are only traces left. Of course other unrelated causes cannot be ruled out, curry and orange vegetables can cause the same for example.

are herbs able to cure the herpes simplex virus 1&2? or will natural herbs just control the symptoms? will eating a healthy diet eliminate the virus? turmeric, enchincea, elderberry? what about a blood purifier herb? (burdock root) ?

: No treatment, herbs or otherwise will eliminate herpes virus from the body. Once a person gets infected with herpes, it stays in the body for the rest of one's life.

can turmeric tea cause alterations to your digestive habits? after drinking turmeric tea for 2 weeks, i experienced constipation, yellowish stools, abdominal cramps, and rectal discomfort. i've stopped drinking the tea, but i still have symptoms?

: Beware of supplements that contain turmeric.  Manufactures can put anything they want (and you do not want) in them. Stop and see if you get better.

: I confess that I too use turmeric, BUT, not so sure there is any clearcut benefit for anyone's health.  However, sure enhances the flavors of Indian food!

Can't tell: You can't tell until you use it on your skin. But then, what is the purpose since the odor of tumeric is not that pleasant on the skin even though i love curry.

Sure but why? : Turmeric is a spice used in a variety of curries, chili, etc.  it is known to have properties of stabilizing glucose. Certainly this is safe. But why are you giving this?  This is nothing a good bowl of chili can't accomplish!

Ginger is Ginger: Not harmful.....Not helpful.  Benefits of Turmeric are not proven with scientifically based  medical studies but should not be harmful taken with NSAIDS.
