Possible butunlikely: The Falope rings are highly effective at occluding your tubes and preventing pregnancy 99% of the time.  Unfortunately, an intrauterine or extrauterine pregnancy after a "tubal" can still rarely occur, usually for reasons no one can explain. Be safe. Ask your Gyn for a blood betaHCG pregnancy test which will probably be negative. Your symptoms may be due to ovulation or ovarian hormone problems

Yes.: Female hormones are not at the same level all month long.  During the bleeding period, both Estradiol and Progesterone are low.  After the typical 5 days of bleeding, the ovaries begin to produce estradiol, which begins to grow the endometrial lining.  At day 14 per say, ovulation occurs where Progesterone surges along with Estradiol occurs.  Mood is affected by the surges and dips of the cycle.

Menses: Usually 12 and about 2 years after the onset of breast development. Remain calm yourself and make sure she has been well educated and understands it is a normal phase of maturity. Treat any pain or discomfort and avoid embarrassing her. All the best.

Late period: Reasons for missed / late period include: an anovulatory cycle in which no egg is released, marked v or ^ in weight; eating disorder; Over-exercising (endurance athletics), stress, travel, significant illnesses, oral contraceptives &amp; other meds, Illegal drug use, breast feeding, hormone imbalances and medical problems (i.e., PCOS).  Pregnancy would be lower on the list of reasons due to tubal lig.

Maybe: It may be simply delayed, however run a pregnancy tet to be certain. Ectopic pregnancies are the most common type post tubal ligation so if the period does not appear in 3 weeks or the pregnancy test is faintly positive see a GYN MD.
