Floaters: They are most likely what are known as floaters. Floaters are condensations within the vitreous gel in the center of the eye. They can be annoying, but are usually not a significant problem. If you develop a shower of new floaters, particularly if seen with light flashes, that could indicate that you are developing a retinal tear or detachment, and you should be seen by an ophthalmologist asap.

Depends: Xanthelasma are deposits of mostly cholesterol under the skin in oval patches on the lids mostly towards the nose.  They are without symptoms and cause no problems.  Sometime they are a clue to elevated cholesterol in the bloodstream.  They can be surgically removed in a minor procedure if they are a cosmetic problem.

Arcus senilis: I presume you are referring to a whitish grey ring in the cornea that appears all the way around the colored part of the eye. Most commonly this is not due to cholesterol. It is a normal finding in people as the age, called arcus senilis. It can be a sign of elevated cholesterol in people younger than 45. It is more visible/noticeable in individuals with dark coloring of the eye.

Allergies : Allergies cause red eyes and skin. Cold compress can relieve the swelling and redness.   Cetaphil or eucerin cream can help with dry skin around the eyes.  Over-the-counter allergy medicine, such as loratidine (claritin) or cetrizine (zyrtec)  should be taken to stop the overall allergy.  Over the counter eyedrops help relieve eye itching: zaditor (ketotifen) is a good eye drop for this.

Artificial tears: Try a good lubricating artificial tear 4-6 times during the day. If this doesn't help or if symptoms persist, see your eye doctor for an exam and other recommendations. If you wear contacts you may want to try glasses for a brief period until better.

Med side effects: Atorvastatin is a statin.  Side-effects include muscular aches , inflammation, lft elevation.  Dangerous toxicity such as outright rhabdomyolosis is rare (less than 0.05%), but muscle aches can occur in 10% patients.
