HAIR LOSS: Rogaine (minoxidil) seems to work well for many of my male patients. A dermatologist would be one to consult. He or she might recommend an oral medication that also seems ot help.

Get seen: All normal men lose the hair on their temples at your age. If you're losing hair otherwise, it's probably telogen effluvium or alopecia areata and both should take you to a dermatologist -- one self-cures, the other is famously non-treatable and the remedy is to muscle up so that you'll look better than anybody else regardless. : I tell my patients  with this problem is that they need to choose different grandparents. We usually smile and joke about that.  I would construct a family tree (men and women) focusing on what you have. Look at old pictures. Talk to as many as you can.  This does not usually come up at the dinner table.   Then discuss with your Dr.
