Wasp sting: If you are allergic to a wasp sting and you have an anaphylactic reaction to the sting you could die   that is why they have the bee sting epi pens that people can carry if they are allergic   it is very rare to die from a wasp sting, however.

Maybe nothing: Unless you are allergic to it, often a sting from a wasp will only cause some imediate local pain. Infection arising from a simple sting is quite rare. So, if it is not hurting/swelling, do nothing. If some redness, try some calamide/caladryl lotion. If really swollen, red, painful after 2-3 days, consult doc. Good luck.

Depends: Most people who are stung by bees just get a red, swollen itchy "bump" in the area...Wshing it right away..Using ice...Applying cortisone cream and taking an antihistamine usually provides relief. 
If you have bee sting allergy you can have more serious symptoms(hives all over, asthma, trouble breathing etc..) if you have these  see an allergist asap.

They will give you Epinephrine so you don't go into anaphylactic shock, which can close your airway and kill you.  After this episode is over, you might want to see your doctor and get an epipen, (epinephrine) which is a shot of Epinephrine you can give yourself quick if this happens again.

Probably Not: Most wasp stings are painful, but not dangerous. However, some people are allergic and such reactions (hives, trouble breathing) can be life-threatening. Also, multiple stings can be dangerous, particularly in very small children or the elderly. Otherwise most stings result in only local symptoms of pain & redness.  Bacterial infections are uncommon.

Yes, can happen: It isn&#x27;t uncommon to still have some progression of swelling after 24 hours. Clean area with soap ; warm water.  Apply ice (bag of frozen peas) in 10 min. Increments; alternating 10 on ; 10 off.  You can take meds like tylenol, (acetaminophen) Aspirin or Motrin for pain or Benadryl for swelling.  Make a paste of 2 parts baking soda ; 1 part water ; apply.  Throat, airway, mouth swelling or difficulty breathing?
