Allergic reaction,: benadryl  could be helpful. If having difficulty breathing, go to urgent care/ER for possible severe allergic reaction. If nothing is helping, possibly will need medrol dosepak, steroid tablet, possibly an injection, see your doctor.

Avoid nickel: Nickel is a metal often associated with contact dermatitis. It is an important component of 10k ; 14k gold jewelry ; is commonly used in inexpensive jewelry. Try wearing non-metallic, sterling silver or 18k gold necklaces. If the rash is due to nickel allergy it will fade away in 2-3 weeks. If not, avoid all necklaces for 3 weeks. Rash still there? See a dermatologist, allergist or your pcp.

some treatment options include:
-grow a beard
-shave less often
-double bladed razor + wet shaving
-topical antibiotics
-topical steroids
-topical retinoids
-oral antibiotics.

May not be yeast!: That pattern is more typical of seborrheic dermatitis.  "yeast" medicines won't help, but anti-inflammatory ("cortisone" related) creams will.  If your own doc is having trouble with this, you might see a pediatric dermatologist.  Keep in mind that to diagnose your infant accurately, we'd need to know his age, health status, & what has and hasn't worked.  Actually seeing the rash helps us too!

Stop the probiotic: Its not clear if the probiotics are causing the rash, because a rash can be caused for many different reasons.  If you think the rash started immediately after taking probiotics, then you should stop taking probiotics, especially if you do not have a particular reason for taking them.
