Yes: If you have oral sex with HSV-1, this infection can be spread.  I do not know a specific percentage of how often this happens.

Not recommended: The genitals, being a prime portion of the body related to procreation, are amply supplied with nerves of pain.  Depending upon how hard the man is kicked, the pain can be substantial.  An estimate of this can be made by watching professional sports and the occasional instance when one of the players get slammed in the groin which usually causes him to drop to the floor.

Keep them clean.: Sounds to basic.  But most important. Bathe regularly and if you persire, then a songe bathing of your gentials helps.  I am in favour of tue antibacterial soaps, if oder is an issue.  This is controversial in most medical circles. 

Not important that I use dial and dove soaps!

Herpes simplex: Herpes simplex is a virus that you catch from someone who is infected with it. Most transmission occurs when persons shed virus but lack lesions.  Usually skin-skin, skin-mucosa contact.  Hsv is inactivated promptly at room temperature. Aerosol or fomitic spread unlikely. Infection occurs via inoculation onto susceptible mucosal surface or break in skin.

Less likely: Your genital hsv-1 infection has produced antibodies that will greatly reduce the chance of getting hsv 1 orally, but not completely eliminate it.  In addition, they provide no protection against hsv-2, which you can get orally as well.
