Possible; not likely: Transvaginal ultrasound (tvus) is more sensitive in evaluating pelvis anatomy. One could 'see' smaller tumors with tvus, however this does not indicate ability to distinguish malignant from benign tissue, which requires pathologic microscopic evaluation.

Only if large: Cervical cancer can be microscopic (very early) or large with a tumor that you can feel on pelvic examination as well as see on ultrasound.  So, it can miss a lot in between. It is NOT a good tool to use for screening for cervical cancer. But sometimes it can help to evaluate or look at the upper cervix to see if it is enlarged. The lower cervix a doctor can seen clearly when you get a pelvic exam

Possibly: The transvaginal ultrasound (u/s) is arguably the best screening tool for ovarian cancer (oca) but certainly the quality of the u/s and the state of the oca when it was discovered can affect the value of the early diagnosis.  A recent study comparing the survival of persons whose oca was detected by u/s to those diagnosed by other means showed significant increased survival in the u/s group.

Yes: There are no good screening tests for ovarian cancer! the best tests we have for patients with a high risk for ovarian cancer is an ultrasound and a blood test called ca125. However, even doing these 2 tests every 6 months, we will still miss the majority of cancers. We need better blood tests.

Biopsy: Transvaginal ultrasound is not designed to detect endocervical cancer. An early lesion may not produce enough structural change to be picked up ultrasound. If there is any reason to suspect endocervical cancer, curettings, or biopsy of the canal should be tested by a pathologist.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex.

Sometimes: It is not a good screening test for the average woman.  However, some centers recommend aggressive screening for women with significant family history of ovarian cancer or genetic related issues.  In those few cases, screening with vaginal ultrasound and ca-125 blood tests may be helpful.  (but unfortunately, these tests are no where near as sensitive as colonoscopy screening for colorectal polyps.
