hi i took clomid (clomiphene) from 2-6 for 5days  aweek since i finished it i don't know when i ovualte but when i test its negative cycle is 30 -40 ?

Clomid (clomiphene) and ovulation: Either the dose of Clomid (clomiphene) you took was inadequate to induce ovulation or Clomid (clomiphene) does not work for you (in which case you will need injectable medications). Typically, whenever i prescribe Clomid (clomiphene) i perform an ultrasound on day 12 of the cycle to see if  one (or more) dominant follicles have been recruited.  If so, i trigger ovulation by administering and injection of hcg. But I am agressive.

Usually in 1 week : Usually you will ovulate about a week after finishing the pills. But sometimes it may take a few more days. And sometimes you may not ovulate from clomid (clomiphene). But if you do, likely about 7-10 days later.

Effects present now: If you took Clomid (clomiphene) on days five through nine then ovulation should occur around sat 14 through 17. The effects of a successful round of Clomid (clomiphene)  would still be in the system right now.

Yes, it should: Make u ovulate around day 16; i guess i'm curious about why u r on Clomid (clomiphene) if u already ovulate, but that's not your question, so yes, around the same time.

Progesterone testing: Typically doctors monitor ovulation by doing a blood Progesterone test. This way we can determine if the treatment is triggering ovulation or not. Without testing one can not be certain. Discuss with the prescribing doctor having a midluteal phase progesterone test drawn.

LH kit: It's not always easy to tell when you ovulate. Especially on clomid (clomiphene). Use an lh detection kit to find out.

Dose change?: Your doctor hasn't changed the dose after four failed cycles? You may want a second opinion. Not sure when you're ovulating.

Yes: Today would be d 11 of your cycle and the ovulation test can turn positive 24-36 hours before you actually ovulate. It is possible that you will ovulate on d13 which would not be unheard of on that regimen.

i took clomid (clomiphene) 100 this month from day 5 to 10..today is day 23 and having strong pain in my lower stomach ?

Probably normal: Many women using Clomid (clomiphene) will have more cramping during the cycle.  Some of the cramping can be due to ovulation. Cycle day 23 would be very near or just after ovulation and the cramps are probably normal.
