i've been diagnosed with tonsillitis , my tonsils are very swollen and my uvula is stuck to one. is this meant to happen? should i do some thing?

See a pediatrician: Tonsils may enlarge in response to infection, and may stay large long after the infection clears up. If concerned, I would recommend that you discuss this problem with your pediatrician. Very common.

Dr. to check throat: New throat pain can be from a strep throat infection (antibiotics are needed), a cold or influenza (antibiotics usually not used), or from some other cause such as allergies or irritants. Usually, a person sees the doctor if the sore throat is bothersome, recurrent, or doesn't go away quickly (mainly to check for strep throat). Difficulty talking, swallowing, or breathing can be an EMERGENCY.

No: Tonsilitis can occur just in the back of your throat in the tonsil area.  You may not have any other symptoms iin your mouth.  Because of the possibility of strep, see your doctor for an evaluation and treatment  that may be needed.

Tonsillitis: Yes, it absolutely can.  Even more exciting is when you have tonsil calculus or tonsil stones.  These are little white pellet-looking things that fill the pits or crypts in your tonsils.  Not only will they taste bitter, but they'll give you some pretty foul smelling breath, so you won't be the only one who gets to experience them.  If this is a chronic problem, you should get it checked out.

Snoring/OSA: Assuming you are a thin or fit young man as you say, then you likely either have large tonsils (which you would know - they are tough to hide) or else chronic nasal obstruction likely from a crooked septum or (much less likely) retained adenoids behind nasal cavity.  See an ENT to do a good endoscopic exam of your nose and throat and decide if you need a sleep study.
